Mid-Week Fitness Retreat: “Mind and Body Recharge”

ALL FITNESS LEVELS WELCOME
Do you need some time away to recharge your body with fun outdoor work outs and rejuvenate the mind through healthy meals and self reflection? This retreat will do just that and much more. With over 150 km of beautiful single track trails and stunning road biking at your fingertips, the outdoor fitness opportunities are endless in Horseshoe Valley. Come with a friend or by yourself for intense outdoor workouts, healthy food and inspiring workshops that will leave you feeling strong and grounded.
All fitness levels are welcome! We will divide the activities based on current levels that you are comfortable with. Do not worry about ability as we will ensure to have guides that suite your level to ensure a successful experience for all. Road biking, mountain biking, trail running, outdoor bootcamps or hiking – the choice is up to you and the opportunity to work at your own level will be provided at all times. Do not let your hesitations or fears get the best of you – this retreat will accommodate your fitness abilities. Moving our body, challenging our minds and enjoying the opportunity to work on ourselves is our main focus.
Date: Tuesday, August 9th at 7pm – Thursday, August 11th at noon

Cost: FULL RETREAT: $275 (includes accommodations/4 meals/2 snacks/activities)
ONE DAY ONLY : $100 for Wed only (includes 3 meals/snack/activities)
Itinerary: Boot-camp/Bike/Hike or Trail Run/Yoga/Healthy Food/Wellness Workshops
Bring: water bottle, yoga mat, fitness gear, headlamp, bike (mountain or road)

7:30 pm: One Hour Meet/Greet Trail Hike
8:30 pm: Energy Beverage at Crazy Horse
9:00 pm: Setting The Tone Workshop

Wed, August 10th
7:00 am: Light Breakfast Snack
7:30 am: Flat Trail Run or Power Walk Hike
8:15: Outdoor 30 Minute Core/Stretch
9:00 am Healthy Breakfast/Shower or Relax
9:45 am Positive Mental Health Workshop
10:45 am Bike Ride with Healthy Snack (all levels in terms of ability)
(Gentle Flat Single Track Mountain or Scenic Road Ride: 1.5 hours -option for smaller route)
12:45 pm Healthy Homemade Lunch On Patio Porch
1:45 pm Relaxation/Down Time (Electronic Free Time):

Accommodations:
The retreat will take place in a spacious home at the heart of Horseshoe Valley. The house has a large kitchen/great room, real wood fire place and three full bathrooms. This home backs onto the golf course and has scenic views that provide a tranquil, relaxed atmosphere for a retreat. The price quoted above is based per person with double occupancy for the rooms. There are 5 bedrooms. One has a king size bed, two of the rooms have queen beds, one room has a double and one room has 2 singlets.
